NSSA Quarterly education meeting - Wednesday 13th August 2025, The Royal Children’s Hospital

Every 3 months, the NSSA puts together an education meeting, with talks from scientists, neurologists, neurosurgeons and other experts in the field. It is a chance to learn some new skills, earn CPD points for accreditation, and connect and network with peers from other institutions.

The next meeting is scheduled for Wednesday 13th August at the Royal Children’s Hospital, Melbourne from 3:00-5:00PM.

Talks will be as follows:

·     Courtney Kruger: ?Spasms.

·     Nicci Richards: Fusionless Bipolar Spine Stabilisation Surgery at the RCH.

·     Megan Walker: “Name that Benign Variant!”.

Room: Health Education Learning Precinct (HELP) – Room 1.032 – 1st Floor, West. If you come in the main entrance, make your way up the stairs (or Yellow lifts) to the HELP entrance, turn left after reception, down the corridor, and then right into 1.032. (See map attached).

·       Parking is available (paid) underneath the hospital. Although available at this time, allow ample time to hunt down and secure a parking spot. There is also street parking in surrounding streets which is typically 2 hour meter.

·       Public transport is accessible with the 59, 58, and 57 trams stopping nearby the hospital.
