Travel & Public Transport
Public transport is highly recommended as the venue is exceptionally well-serviced by Melbourne’s tram and train networks.
By Tram (Closest Option)
Trams stop directly outside the hospital main entrance at Stop 14 - Epworth Hospital / Bridge Road:
Tram 48: North Balwyn to Docklands (via Collins Street in the CBD)
Tram 75: Vermont South to Central Pier Docklands (via Flinders Street in the CBD)
By Train
West Richmond Station (Mernda and Hurstbridge lines) is a 5-minute walk north of the hospital via Lennox Street.
Richmond Station (major hub for most suburban lines) is a 15-minute walk south of the hospital via Hoddle Street/Punt Road.
Parking Information
Parking directly around the hospital is heavily restricted. If you plan to drive, please allow extra time to secure a spot.
On-Site Undercover Parking
An underground multi-level car park is located directly beneath Epworth Richmond, with entry via Bridge Road. It operates 24/7.
Daily Rates: 4–8 hours is $51.00, and 8–24 hours is $61.00.
Note: Spaces are limited and tend to fill up quickly on weekdays.
Nearby Commercial Parking
Secure Parking (23-29 Bridge Road): Located just a 2-minute walk from the hospital. Daily early-bird or pre-booked rates are generally much more economical if booked in advance online.
